When I was about 12 years old my parents decided to put a television upstairs in the kids bedroom. I'm guessing that when they did this they did not figure that I would set my alarm for 12:30am to watch The Late Night Show with Conan O'Brien from my top bunk while my sister slept below. But that is exactly what happened.
Two weeks ago McKay and I drove 12 hours for less than a 24 hour stay in Spokane, Washington
just to see this guy. And was it worth it? Yes sir.

I'm not much for celebrities, and I'm certainly not one to go crazy over a sighting, but when I heard I would get the chance to meet Conan I FREAKED OUT. Total fan girl squealing, jumping up and down kind of freak out. McKay knew a guy who knew a guy who could get us backstage, and long story short, we met Conan. We chatted about cab drivers and greek fisherman, late night television and Diff'rent Strokes. It was pretty much everything I ever dreamed it would be.

Stace, the schmuck is head writer for Conan. He's pretty hilarious, even if he does look kinda creepy in this picture. :)
I'm so excited I have avid readers! Thanks for not giving up on us, you three! And Jennifer, I can understand the Kopi fan scream. Nobody does weather quite like him.

Oh my Amazing!! I seriously did a double take when I saw the picture and then threw my phone in Danes face :) I had a major Conan crush in High school and it still lingers. Love him. So incredibly jealous. PS, thanks for rejoining the blogging world. You have been missed!
